Brewster Community Food Pantry

The pantry is open two days a week to help families and individuals supplement their food needs. Any surrounding towns to Brewster, including North Salem, Somers, etc. that don’t have pantries are welcome. If you know someone who might be in need, please let them know about us. We rely on grants and donations to keep us going and we need everyone’s support to help us continue with our growing numbers. We currently serve 300 households.

Two ways you can help – One way to help is to collect food items such as cereal, tuna, hot chocolate, canned fruit, rice, soup, spaghetti sauce, mac & cheese, beans, and healthy snacks. Another way to help is to give money. $1.00 donated to our pantry buys two and half times as much food when we purchase from the Albany Food Bank than purchased at a local supermarket.

And we love new volunteers!

Prison Ministry
Woman 2 Woman, Bedford Presbyterian Church’s visiting program at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, started in 2013 with one visitor. Since then, more than 150 women have visited incarcerated people at Bedford Hills and Taconic. Meaningful, life-altering connections have been made.
